Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced school psychologist to provide essential support during a maternity leave coverage from August 31st to November 2026. This contract-based position focuses on serving PreK through 2nd grade students and is located near Danbury, CT.

As a valued member of the school community, you will conduct evaluations, manage counseling caseloads, and be responsible for finalizing IEPs. You'll also collaborate as a key member of the crisis response team, ensuring the social-emotional well-being of young learners and supporting colleagues during critical situations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students, ideally with PreK-2nd grade
• Strong background in conducting evaluations, counseling, and writing IEPs
• Ability to work effectively on collaborative teams, including crisis intervention
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
• Provide direct counseling services as assigned
• Document and finalize IEPs, ensuring compliance and individualized support
• Serve as an active participant on the school's crisis team
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
