At Farris Motor Company , our Used Vehicle Reconditioning Department is one of the busiest in East Tennessee. We process hundreds of pre-owned vehicles each year, and we're looking for an experienced Used Car Reconditioning Technician to help us deliver safe, reliable vehicles our customers can depend on.

- Perform complete mechanical inspections on incoming used vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform Multi-Point Inspections (MPI)
- Complete repairs on engines, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, HVAC, driveline, and electrical systems
- Recommend additional repairs needed to meet dealership quality standards
- Ensure every vehicle is safe, reliable, and retail-ready
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Automotive repair experience required
- Experience working on multiple makes and models preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
