Production Welder

Job Description Job Description A production Welder/Builder at Future Line utilizes prints/drawing, traveler bills of materials (BOMs), and other documentation to build truck bodies and platforms, toolboxes and ladder racks, as well as other related ancillary products. The primary tools and skills required are for aluminum welding, but also includes some fasteners such as rivets, hucks, and nuts and bolts and related tools. Some Carbon Steel welding may also be required. This position is responsible for quality of product being passed on, including work performed prior to this position. Responsibilities also include the maintaining of equipment used, the cleanliness/preparedness of the work area(s), the maintaining of inventory controls, and adherence to all safety protocols. This position must be willing to work in areas other than primary. Overtime may be required to adjust to unexpected demands, but overtime is not institutionalized at Future Line at this time.
