Tax Accountant

An experienced tax professional with at least 3 years of public accounting experience is needed to prepare and review tax returns for individuals, LLCs, and corporations while supporting client financial planning. Position available immediately. Remote opportunity to help guide clients through complex financial decisions with opportunities to grow tax and financial planning expertise. Collaborative, team-oriented, and paperless office environment with a strong emphasis on technology and client service. Salary is commensurate with experience.

We're seeking an Accountant to join a professional services team that supports growing businesses and high-net-worth individuals. This role focuses on tax preparation and advisory while offering broader exposure to financial planning services including estate, succession, and retirement planning.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing individual, LLC, S corp, and C corp tax returns, communicating with clients and tax authorities, providing high-quality tax services and strategic financial advice, collaborating with team members in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment, and contributing to client acquisition and business development efforts.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (MBA preferred), minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience, strong technical tax knowledge and research skills, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
