Tax Staff Accountant

Job Title

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• 2 - 3 years accounting experience.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or candidacy a bonus.
• Prepare certain Federal and state income tax returns.
• Learn and/or perform tax research.
• Become familiar with United States tax reform legislation and guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Become familiar with analyzing financial reports and book to tax differences.
• Become knowledgeable with Cg tax and accounting software solutions.
• Work with senior staff to ensure that clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Help research and correct any discrepancies in tax filings.
• Work with senior staff to identify tax savings strategies and client recommendations.
• Participate in training and other educational opportunities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Cg Senior Management, when necessary.
• This position is hybrid; a combination of remote and in-office work. In-office work will be determined by Cg management and/or client needs.

Location: Hybrid

Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,000 annually
