We are seeking to hire a TaxStaff Accountant tojoin our growing practice with flexible start date options: August orSeptember 2026 or January 2027 . This is a full-time position with our firmbased in our Rochester, NY office. Responsibilities: The responsibilities and requirements associated with theposition include but are not limited to: Preparing complex 1040's, high net worth individual returnsand business income tax returns (Small business, Partnerships, S-Corps,C-Corps) Learning the software, processes and procedures toefficiently complete assignments Preparing tax projections to assist clients in implementingtax strategies Developing tax research and writing skills Maintaining strong working relationships with clients andinternal team members Developing the skills for basic tax research projects. Developing an understanding of tax software for compliance. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (Masters in Tax is a plus) in accountingand CPA license or progress towards license is required. For this role we wouldlook for 0-1+ years tax/audit experience working within a public accountingfirm.Internship experience involving auditing or tax preparationexperience is also a plus. Basic knowledge of spreadsheet and databaseapplications is required. Salary Information: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to sharethat the base pay range for this position is $60,000 - $64,000 annually. Pleasekeep in mind that this range is base pay only and does not consider othercomponents that make up the total rewards package for the position such aseligibility to receive discretionary spot bonus incentives. This range is areasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position. Actualcompensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited toskills, experience, qualifications, and/or education and geographiclocation. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near thetop of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on thecapabilities and experience of the candidate.
