Logistics Assistant
The Logistics Assistant will be responsible to assist the Logistics and customs members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize internal and external systems to gather information, update status, and create reports.
- Ensure effective and timely payment of invoices for freight, charges, and other services.
- Create/proof documents for customs clearance.
- Assist with documentation for the warehouse.
- Help with Paper Work.
Requirements
Strong organizing and time management skills.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills required. Spanish is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally effectively with internal and external parties.
Analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Intermediate MS Excel skills. Experience with intermodal logistics systems.
Working knowledge of international ocean freight processes strongly preferred.
