Texas Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Chef** to join our team in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong culinary skills, and a passion for serving our residents delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced meals.**Schedule:** 30hrs/week (Full-Time) - 3 days, 10 hr shifts**Pay Range:** $22-23/hr**Responsibilities:*** Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with facility menus and resident dietary needs.* Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.* Coordinate with the Dietary Manager and Dietitian to accommodate **therapeutic and texture-modified diets**.* Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen.* Demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail during meal prep and service.* Lead and collaborate with dietary team members to promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.* Contribute creativity and input for menu planning and special events.**Qualifications:*** **Culinary school education** preferred.* Minimum **5 years of professional cooking experience**, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or a high-volume kitchen.* Strong knowledge of **food safety and sanitation practices** (ServSafe certification a plus).* Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.* Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.* Knowledge of **therapeutic diets** and dietary restrictions preferred.**Benefits:*** $22-23/hr* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and holiday pay* Supportive, resident-focused work environmentIf you’re a passionate chef who values teamwork, creativity, and making a difference in residents’ daily lives, we’d love to hear from you!We are an equal opportunity employer.
