About the Position

Job Title: Medical Surgical/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med-Surg & PCU Duration: Contract Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of PCU mixed with Med-Surg/Tele experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 2 years of PCU mixed with Med-Surg/Tele experience - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications - Degree accreditation or 5 years of experience Description: Responsibilities include working in Med-Surg and PCU. Floating to other units, including Med-Surg, PCU, and ED Hold, is required. The home base will be a Med-Surg Tele floor. The unit has a total of 36 beds. Staff-to-patient ratios are between 5 to 6 patients per RN. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. Culture is very important, and travelers are welcomed into the units. Travelers are expected to function as core staff does. All requested time off must be submitted upon application. Demographic information must be included in the application submission. No exceptions will be made for pending documentation.
