Our teams work closely with internal stakeholders and industry partners to proactively address supply chain challenges, mitigate risk, and support the evolving needs of military operators around the world.THE WORKThe Army/Air Force Market Segment is seeking a Subcontract Manager to support key programs and strategic initiatives across the portfolio. This role will be responsible for leading efforts related to emerging obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) challenges impacting the Sikorsky supply chain.Responsibilities include:Managing supplier development and execution activities supporting legacy Army and Air Force platformsLeading efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks associated with obsolescence and DMSMS issuesSupporting sourcing, subcontract management, and supplier performance activities to ensure program commitments are achievedCollaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute supply chain strategies that support affordability, schedule, and quality objectivesBuilding strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive successful program outcomesSupporting multiple platforms across the Army and Air Force Market Segment, including UH-60M, HH-60M, HH-60W, S-70I, and S-70M programsThis position reports directly to the S-70 Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) team while providing support across the broader market segment as business needs require.WHO WE AREThe Sikorsky Supply Chain organization is responsible for delivering world-class supplier management, strategic sourcing, and subcontract administration in support of some of the world's most advanced military and commercial aircraft. Experience with US government subcontracts Ability to travel up to 25%Desired Skills:Possess excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive managementFederal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), or Department of Defense Contracts (DOD)Mission First Mindset focused on innovative solutions to complex problems. Operates with a sense of urgency to accomplish task and goals. Experience in negotiating contracts with intellectual property a plus. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
