Job Description

Provide technical and industry expertise across multiple project phases, lead medium‑to‑large engagements, develop sales opportunities, and manage client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases
• Demonstrate capabilities with minimal oversight from senior professionals
• Contribute to medium‑to‑large projects or own a significant portion of a larger project
• Lead medium‑to‑large effort or project team
• Delegate team work assignments through various engagement phases
• Manage projects from prospect and proposal through client deliverable
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Provide independent engineering services, M&A advisory, valuation, and related services for transactional due diligence, managing teams of engineers, managers, consultants, and analysts to complete deliverables
• Focus on project management and develop sales responsibilities
• Demonstrate solid working knowledge of electric generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, digital infrastructure, and/or renewable energy technologies
• Utilize specialized knowledge to produce complex work products and solutions across all phases of engagement
• Manage moderate‑to‑highly complex engagements through all stages
• Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans
• Secure commitment and participation from client senior management by leveraging relationships
• Search for new consulting opportunities with existing or new clients
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction and objectives of a service offering

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years managing significant engagements
• Master’s degree
• Knowledge and experience with power generation technologies, utilities, O&G infrastructure, water/wastewater technologies, digital infrastructure, or electric power commercial and regulatory practices
• Advanced technical or industry knowledge
• Broad knowledge of the marketplace
• Project management, client management, and negotiation skills
• Intermediate business development capability and at least 2 years of business development experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Experience managing significant engagements
• 10+ years in a business or consulting environment
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search

Certifications

Certifications related to area of expertise preferred.
