Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts. Must be flexible with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs.

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma care within a large healthcare facility and be prepared to work on a variety of surgical cases. Opportunity to advance patient care within a supportive environment while fulfilling necessary call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
• Assist in all surgical specialties except CVOR cases.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including weekday call and 24-hour call periods.
• Document patient care within the EMR system, utilizing EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Experience in large trauma level 1 facilities preferred.
• EPIC experience required within the past 2 years.
• Ability to provide circulate and scrub skills across general, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular specialties.
