Account Executive, Drybar - Chicago

Overview Position: Account Executive, Drybar & Curlsmith – Remote (eligible within 30 miles of Chicago, Illinois). Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, this role drives sales growth and brand awareness across major retail partners such as Ulta, Sephora, Macy’s and Nordstrom for powerhouse brands Drybar and Curlsmith. Responsibilities Territory Sales Growth: Build and execute strategic growth plans with retail partners to drive incremental sales, strengthen long‑term relationships and lead in‑store events that elevate customer experience. Retailer Ownership & Growth: Own key door and retail management relationships, collaborate with store management, regional/district managers, event managers, and education managers to drive sales growth and brand awareness. Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and retain Account Coordinators and Independent Contractors; set performance goals and ensure achievement of sales and transaction metrics. Operational Excellence: Set measurable goals, manage budgets with the Regional Manager, maintain Salesforce and SharePoint tracking, and provide weekly sales recaps and competitor feedback. Qualifications Proven territory sales management experience on major U.S. retail accounts (e.g., Ulta, Sephora). 3+ years of territory sales management in the beauty industry. Strong analytical, negotiation, budgeting, and relationship‑management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Experience leading high‑performing teams and driving results. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to store locations. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Hairstylist or Cosmetologist. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Experience in hair or curly/textured hair categories. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $75,910–$94,887 annually (for California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York). Total compensation includes salary, bonus, and other benefits.
