If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and being the go-to person for guests and staff, this role is for you!Position Summary:The Receptionist facilitates the flow of hospital's communication; provides a customer-friendly environment for customers and staff via telephone and face-to-face communication. Communicates department information and updates to receptionists and staff members providing coverage at the front desk.Key Responsibilities:Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly mannerProvides requested information or direction to callersGreets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly mannerManages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badgesDirects and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriateManages patient items brought in by visitorsMaintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral callsProvides clerical support to hospital as needed and assigned by department headPerforms other duties as assigned/required by this positionSchedule:Evenings, Nights, & weekendsPalmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is located on the beautiful Ashley River near Charleston, SC.
