Team Lead Hydrology/Business Development

In this role, you will lead hydrogeological studies that guide well siting, groundwater development, and long-term water resource planning. You will build client relationships across the region, lead proposals, and win new work that grows our water practice. You will also manage interdisciplinary teams that carry projects from investigation through design, drawing on GHD’s global water expertise to deliver outcomes that support communities.Let’s solve the big problems together.Our Hybrid Work Model: Be part of the dynamic culture! Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hydrogeological studies by selecting boring and well locations, overseeing geologic and geophysical data collection and interpretation, and contributing to well proposals.Serve as a seller-doer who builds client relationships and wins new work.Manage new and established projects from start to finish.Lead and mentor a team of three to five direct reports.Lead proposal development for new pursuits.Manage the delivery of interdisciplinary projects.Perform senior-level quality assurance and quality control reviews.EducationA bachelor’s degree in geology or hydrogeology is required.A master’s degree in geology or hydrogeology is preferred.ExperienceAt least 15 years of relevant experience is required.A California Professional Geologist license is required.Certification as a Certified Hydrogeologist is preferred.Strong client relationships in the region are required.As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
