Job Description

The Assembler works at a bench assembling small connector parts and cables in a clean, production-focused environment. Using microscopes, magnifying tools, tweezers, and other hand tools, this role follows detailed written work instructions and blueprints to prepare, assemble, and inspect precision electrical and cable components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small connector parts and cable assemblies at a workbench using microscopes, magnifying glasses, tweezers, and other hand tools.
• Follow written work instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of electrical and cable components.
• Prepare connectors and cables for assembly, including organizing parts and materials before work begins.
• Use microscopes and magnification tools to place and position very small components with precision.
• Perform basic inspection of assembled parts to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Use basic math skills to support measurements, counts, and verification of parts and assemblies.
• Work efficiently in a production environment to meet quality, safety, and throughput expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workbench and comply with all cleanliness and handling guidelines associated with a cleanroom-type setting.

Essential Skills

• Proven assembly skills, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using a microscope or magnifying glass to perform detailed assembly work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions.
• Hands-on experience with cable assembly or similar small-component electrical assembly.
• Proficiency using hand tools such as tweezers and other small assembly tools.
• Ability to perform basic math for counting, measuring, and verification tasks.
• Basic inspection skills to check assembled parts for quality and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills for handling small components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, cable, or electronic component assembly.
• Experience working in a clean or cleanroom-type manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working in a structured production setting with established processes and standards.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain consistent quality over repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

This role operates in a clean, manufacturing environment adjacent to a cleanroom-type setting, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and careful handling of components. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with initial training scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Work is performed at a bench using microscopes, magnifying tools, tweezers, and other small hand tools, following structured production processes and quality standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beverly, MA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Beverly,MA.
