Insurance Sales Representative | Path to Agency Ownership

Take your sales experience further with Farmers Insurance District 31.

We’re looking for motivated sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, developing new business, and creating results. This position provides an opportunity to build experience in insurance sales while developing the skills needed for future leadership and agency growth.

You’ll focus on building a book of insurance business, developing relationships within the local community, and creating long-term client relationships. Training, coaching, and business support are available as you learn the insurance industry and develop your business.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Previous sales, business development, or customer service experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A self-motivated and competitive approach to sales

• Interest in leadership and professional growth

• Ability to work within our local market area

Previous management, leadership, or business ownership experience is a plus.

Insurance experience is helpful but not required. Candidates who need to obtain their insurance licenses can receive guidance on the licensing process.

As you grow, there is an opportunity to develop your book of business, build recurring and long-term income, recruit and develop a team, and learn the operational side of growing an insurance agency.

For candidates interested in pursuing the agency ownership path, additional financial qualifications apply, including access to approximately $60,000 in capital .

Compensation:

$125,000 - $225,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met effectively.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local community to expand your client base.
• Provide personalized insurance solutions by assessing clients' needs and offering tailored policy options.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies for successful client engagement.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your insurance knowledge and sales skills.
• Utilize company resources and tools to track client interactions and manage your sales pipeline efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to explain policy details and answer any questions they may have.
