Position: Shipping/Buyer Warehouse Associate Location: Onsite – Waltham, MA Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours/week to start (7:45 AM – 3:45 PM) Duration: Contract-to-Perm (conversion desired after 6 months) Start Date: ASAP Rate: $26-29/Hour Our client is a growing manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate to support daily operations across manufacturing, shipping, and service teams. This is a small, collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential.Detailed List of Job Duties and Responsibilities:Incoming Materials (Receiving)Count, inspect, and verify incoming inventoryReview and match packing slips to deliveries and purchase ordersEnter and upload receipts into ERP/WMS systems (Odoo, Jira)Label materials with barcodes and internal part numbersStage and put away materials into inventory or production staging areasCommunicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies to Purchasing and FinanceUpdate related Jira ticketsOutgoing Materials (Shipping)Pick, pack, and stage outbound shipments for materials and spare partsManage UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight shipmentsCreate shipping labels and required documentationPrepare shipping documents with oversight, including: Bills of Lading (BOLs) Packing slips Commercial invoices (for international shipments)Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with carriersSupport service team with shipping spare parts in and outProvide tracking numbers to Customer Service or SalesIdentify and flag shipping issues such as shortages, damage, or delaysUpdate and close shipping tickets in the systemInventory & Warehouse SupportMaintain organized warehouse and bin locationsPerform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventoryInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesMove inventory between locations within OdooTrack serialized or lot-controlled items (if applicable)Flag inventory shortages and alert Purchasing or ManagementMaintain packing supplies and shipping materialsInternal OperationsStage kits and parts for production jobsTransfer materials between departmentsReturn unused production materials back to stockHandle RMA returns, including receiving and documentationProvide general hands-on support for warehouse and manufacturing activitiesSystems & Tools:Odoo ERP (recently implemented – must be willing to learn)Jira for ticket tracking and documentationAtlassianOracle documentation experience is a nice-to-haveForklift operation experience preferred (can be expired, will be retrained)Required Qualifications:3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operationsStrong experience with outgoing shipping and freightHands-on experience creating shipping labels and documentation (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight)Comfortable with shipping documentation and inventory processesExperience matching packing slips, purchase orders, and deliveriesStrong attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:International shipping experienceJira experienceTeam & Environment:Manufacturing group consisting of 4 full-time employeesSmall team / all-hands-on-deck environmentJoint effort across manufacturing, shipping, and service teamsWork includes moving robots, pallets, and other equipmentClose-toe shoes requiredEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
