Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to gather essential background information and develop insights into client needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) effectively during individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, coordinating care with other health professionals to ensure clients receive continuous support through their treatment journey.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with both clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with practical skills and knowledge to manage their mental health effectively.

• Engage in regular consultations with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness through regular outcome assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on client feedback and clinical judgment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Best Care Psychological and Counseling Center, you will be working primarily with a diverse clientele who may have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
