Work Environment\n

Our remote work setting offers flexibility while maintaining close-knit collaboration among team members. Although this role allows you to work from anywhere, you will have regular interactions with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring ongoing support and a resourceful atmosphere. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand patient needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational sessions aimed at addressing prevalent mental health issues, enhancing patient engagement, and building a sense of community.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches, sharing expertise and patient insights during team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring that patients feel secure and understood in difficult times.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and the importance of community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical standards.

• Stay abreast of advances in mental health practices through ongoing education and professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and substance abuse. Your interventions will aim to meet the unique cultural and emotional needs of each patient, enhancing their individual healing trajectory and supporting long-term recovery plans.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LCMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in various therapeutic methods and approaches.

• Exceptional capacity to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop robust treatment plans that address individual patient needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, demonstrating technical proficiency in documentation and patient management software.

• Strong interpersonal skills, showing empathy, active listening, and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
