Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse — TotalMed Immediate travel nurse opening in Syracuse, NY. Looking for Emergency Room RNs with 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. Overview As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You will provide care in a fast‑paced, urgent, and emergency environment. Responsibilities Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Provide basic bedside care. Document medical history, check allergies, obtain vital signs, monitor patient emotional and physical well‑being. Requirements ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications. 3 years of acute care experience. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds easily; lift up to 50 pounds when required. Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
