Paint Technician

Superior Industries is seeking a Paint Technician. Your role will be pivotal in prepping surfaces for painting, maintaining top-notch quality, and upholding a safe work environment. • Prepare Metal for Painting: Sand spatter and rust, wipe down steel to remove oil and cutting fluids, and verify the removal of spatter and slag.
• Mix and Apply Paint: Properly mix paint, set and adjust paint equipment, and apply paint to completed production jobs and sub-assemblies using correct procedures.
• Maintenance and Quality Control: Perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment, inspect paint jobs for quality issues such as runs and missed areas, and conduct quality checks including visual and electronic mill testing.
• Organize and Coordinate: Identify and mask areas not to be painted, clean paint booth and lights, change filters, and maintain the paint trailer. Coordinate the flow of work and complete necessary paperwork.
• Support and Cleanliness: Assist in keeping all paint areas clean and organized, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace. Perform other duties as assigned.

• The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

• 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
