Marketing Specialist

This is a fully onsite position based in Houston, TX. Candidates must be local to the Houston area or willing to relocate prior to their start date. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role. Position Summary The Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and optimizing Stallion's marketing technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM. This role is ideal for a strategic B2B marketer who understands how marketing technology supports demand generation, lead management, customer journeys, sales enablement, and campaign execution. The successful candidate will bring hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience and have a proven ability to build scalable marketing processes that drive measurable business outcomes. This is not a pure developer role. We are seeking a marketing professional who can bridge strategy, marketing operations, automation, and technology while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Enterprise Systems teams. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is required. What You’ll Own Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and campaign execution. Marketing automation strategy and implementation. Multi-channel campaign development across email, landing pages, forms, and digital programs. Lead management, routing, scoring, and nurture workflows. Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud integrations. Marketing data governance and audience segmentation. Marketing reporting, attribution, and performance analytics. Marketing technology stack optimization and documentation. Sales enablement processes and lead handoff workflows. Digital marketing platform integrations and campaign support. Responsibilities Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Marketing Automation Build and manage email campaigns, customer journeys, and automation workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Develop and maintain audience segmentation strategies utilizing Data Extensions and subscriber architecture. Configure and optimize Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Marketing Cloud Connect. Create scalable nurture campaigns and lead management processes across the buyer journey. Manage campaign testing, deployment, deliverability, and performance reporting. Marketing Operations & CRM Management Maintain and optimize Salesforce CRM integrations and marketing processes. Design lead capture, routing, scoring, and sales handoff workflows. Partner with Sales Operations and Enterprise Systems to ensure data accuracy and process alignment. Maintain database health and marketing compliance standards. Create and maintain system documentation and process guides. Campaign Execution & Demand Generation Support B2B marketing initiatives through email marketing, digital campaigns, and lead generation programs. Manage campaign assets including landing pages, forms, audience lists, and automation workflows. Coordinate audience targeting utilizing Salesforce and ZoomInfo. Partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives. Reporting & Analytics Develop marketing dashboards and reporting frameworks. Track campaign performance across the funnel from inquiry through opportunity creation. Maintain attribution models and UTM tracking standards. Provide actionable insights to marketing and sales leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of B2B marketing experience. 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience. Experienced building and managing marketing automation campaigns. Experience working with Salesforce CRM. Experience managing customer journeys, audience segmentation, and marketing operations. Experience collaborating with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification. Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect. Experience with ZoomInfo or similar data enrichment platforms. Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and campaign attribution reporting. Experience managing B2B demand generation campaigns.
