Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant specialty experience within the past 3 years. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. New Mexico fingerprinting must be completed before start date. Fingerprint results must be obtained before the facility compliance deadline. Failure to complete fingerprinting within 3 business days of assignment acceptance may delay results, and the facility may push the start date until results are received.

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year of recent experience required. Must be able to start own IVs.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Rapid response team activation.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. No call. 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks.

Floating Requirements: Floating to like units.

Special Requests: Excessive RTO requests are not accepted.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
