Development of Training Curriculum : Orchestrates, develops, and designs the creation and structure of training curricula by partnering with cross-departmental teams and subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and leveraging specialized knowledge. Management and Coordination of New Hire Orientation and Onboarding : Oversees and manages the New Hire Orientation and Onboarding processes for new team members and students, including planning and coordinating logistics such as scheduling, space coordination, and facilitation, while cultivating partnerships with internal and external SMEs to enrich the onboarding process.
- Oversees and manages the planning and facilitation of new hire orientation and onboarding processes for new team members, including logistical details such as scheduling, space coordination, facilitation and partnerships with internal and external leaders and speakers.
- Plans and coordinates annual training and development initiatives, ensuring compliance with established schedules, managing instructor assignments, training space, and other resources.
- Oversee CHC's Compliance training programs including content creation, monitoring, analysis, and reporting for required compliance-driven training initiatives using expert knowledge and judgement.
- Conducts comprehensive reviews of training programs using advanced evaluation procedures, identifying training needs through evaluations, surveys, exams, and continuous observations, and making strategic recommendations for improvements.
- Utilizes advanced project management methodologies to manage the creation, delivery, and evaluation of a wide variety of Training & Development projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversees the management of the student/resident program and orientation process, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals.
- Leverages advanced technology to strategically deliver training content tracking, scheduling, and monitoring participation in training events and programs while overseeing record-keeping and reports.
- Reviews team member performance platform against set objectives, provides feedback and completes updates.
- Leads key Human Resource initiatives in close partnership with HR leaders and other strategic leaders.
- Develops and implements programs to support the identification, strategic sourcing, assessment and coaching of current and future leaders and talents.
- Participate in the collaborative development, design, and implementation of talent management initiatives.
- Identify learning tools and resources for CHC.
- Builds and curates the training and development library of resources, ensuring the availability of high-quality and relevant resources and materials.
- Facilitates training and development initiatives through multiple vehicles, including instructor-led training (ILT), webinars, and e-learning, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Designs and develops curriculum, courses, and training tools including videos, webinars, job aides, and presentations.
- Develops metrics and measurements to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and development training programs ensuring continuous improvement.
- Conducts in-depth research learning platforms, best practices, and new learning initiatives to ensure the training & development systems and programs are innovative and up to date.
- Develops, writes, and designs team member communication initiatives, including the CHC News Now newsletter, e-mails, and other communication forums utilizing advanced communication strategies.
- Participates and contributes to organizational goals and initiatives, committees, and projects.
- Manages HR related updates on CHC intranet and other communication platforms to ensure information is current.
- Provides support to leadership and other departments, including HR departments, in the delivery of system-wide initiatives and implementation of strategic priorities.
- Strategically supports and maintains a positive learning culture ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the training and development environment.
- Designs and oversees the compilation of comprehensive reports in the HRIS system and other platforms related to Training & Development utilizing advanced data analysis skills.
- Acts as a strategic partner and liaison with HRIS and technology vendors, as well as other CHC departments, driving technology implementation and overseeing projects related to Training & Development.
- Manages projects related to Training & Development, utilizes project management methodologies and ensuring alignment with organization objectives.
- Undertakes additional strategic responsibilities as assigned contributing to the continuous improvement and success of the Training & Development function.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Training & Development, Human Resources, Instructional Systems, & Organizational Development.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
- Minimum of two years as a Training & Development practitioner required.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering presentations, both in person and virtual required.
- Demonstrated experience in computer technology, developing reports and project management of HRIS and/or technology initiatives.
- Experience in the health care industry preferred.
- Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality for all team member and patient information, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
- Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of Organization Development, Training, and/or Human Resources.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent people skills, and computer literacy.
- Must work with minimal supervision.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of learning and content management systems, HRIS system and knowledge management system.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Travels to all CHC locations as assigned.
