Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in thorough communication with physicians to relay patient progress, identify needs, and report concerns regarding emotional and behavioral progress.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, encompassing detailed records and progress notes, in accordance with departmental policies and regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with healthcare colleagues to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including necessary discharge plans that align with psychosocial assessments and accepted social work methodologies.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to patients, assessing emotional and behavioral issues systematically to implement effective treatment strategies.

• Facilitate consultative meetings with clients’ families and support systems to comprehensively discuss treatment options and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly involves working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. As an LCSW in our detox center, you will encounter a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges and experiences. You’ll be instrumental in promoting recovery and stability by utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in computerized documentation, including electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, maintain organization, and demonstrate self-direction when managing caseloads.
