Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought beginning as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

Clinicians will provide inpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with call coverage required as part of the assignment. Clinical responsibilities include performing scoping procedures, managing consults, and conducting general GI and advanced procedures in accordance with established facility protocols. This is an on-site position at a government facility in Portsmouth, Virginia. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
