Registered Nurse (RN) - Patient Rooms/Recovery (PACU)

Responsibilities The East Campus Surgery Center Registered Nurse – Recovery/PACU will perform direct patient care postoperatively as part of a surgical care team. This RN will assess, document, and manage postoperative pain, assess airway adequacy and intervene quickly and appropriately when necessary, and provide cardiac monitoring and interpretation. They must demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of all phases of recovery nursing principles and expectations. Qualifications Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or have three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
