As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee traffic patterns to help support loss prevention efforts and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with closing and opening procedures, crowd management during busy periods, and general support for security-related operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
