Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license
• Demonstrated expertise in behavioral counseling and intervention
• Experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
• Familiarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and data-driven decision-making in educational settings
• Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills for effective consultation with families, school staff, and support teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small-group counseling to students with intensive needs
• Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to inform intervention strategies
• Complete FBAs and assist in developing and monitoring BIPs
• Support effective MTSS implementation within the school community
• Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers on intervention planning
• Actively participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings
• Engage in crisis response and develop safety planning as needed
• Create and oversee transition plans to aid students’ reintegration into their home schools
