Social Media Community Manager

Title Social Media Community Manager Industry Beauty Location New York, NY Duration 12 months Responsibilities Manage day-to-day community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and X, interacting with consumers, fans, followers, creators, and brand communities. Partner with Customer Care and social agencies to monitor response rates, address consumer inquiries, and elevate customer service needs. Serve as a primary social copywriter, creating engaging, platform-native copy for organic and paid social content while maintaining brand voice. Manage end-to-end social giveaways, including rules, winner selection, outreach, fulfillment, and related administrative tasks. Support the creation of social-first content, including event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, and community-focused storytelling. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in social media, community management, content creation, or a related field, ideally within an in-house brand, digital or PR agency, publisher, or creator-led business. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories, and YouTube Shorts. Proficiency with mobile-first content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms. Experience with social media analytics or listening platforms such as Sprinklr or Dash Social is preferred.
