About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for the Office of Medical Leadership. This pivotal role involves serving as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Surgeon-in-Chief, Medical Director, and Senior Vice President of Service Lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the vision and impact of the Office of Medical Leadership, driving alignment across leaders, and ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, providing strategic counsel on organizational effectiveness, and championing complex change initiatives. The role also involves leading a team, mentoring staff, and designing leadership development strategies to build a robust pipeline of future leaders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, with at least 10 years' of experience in strategic planning, healthcare operations, management consulting, or a related area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare delivery, physician leadership structures, and organizational change management. They should possess exceptional communication, leadership, and team development skills, and be adept at problem-solving and strategic thinking. The role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools. The AVP will be expected to lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
