Position Title: HR Generalist Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: HR Generalist Job Duties: The Human Resources Generalist provides HR support in areas such as recruitment, staffing, employee relations, personnel administration, and HR operations. This position assists employees and managers, coordinates hiring activities, processes HR transactions, maintains personnel records, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures. Key Job Responsibilities: Represents unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems Executes and audits work transactions and changes adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources policies and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for work unit through various mediums Department: Human Resources Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 depending on qualifications and experience Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field 3+ years of relevant experience working in Human Resources Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday Knowledge of or exposure to HR Analytics Contact Information: If you have questions about the position or the application process, please contact the HR office at View phone number on click.appcast.io or View email address on click.appcast.io.
