Patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4 on this 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit. Highlights: Work in a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility with Chest Pain Accreditation Provide complex care to PCI and open-heart surgery patients in a progressive care setting 24-bed unit with average daily census of 23 patients and robust interdisciplinary support Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience 91-day assignment with up to two pre-approved time-off periods Requirements: Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of submission Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting system experience required Experience with 1:4 patient ratios preferred Skills required: blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, and use of rapid response/code teams Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility Why Join Us?
