Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
Full-time schedule: 3:30 PM-12:00 AM, Monday-Friday. Must be willing to work off-shifts as necessary

Summary:

Production Team Lead position within a corrugated packaging manufacturing facility
Lead a small team of production employees while actively participating in daily operations
Operate corrugated production equipment and forklifts as needed
Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met
Hands-on leadership role supporting efficient manufacturing and on-time customer deliveries

Responsibilities:

Lead and support a small team of production personnel to achieve daily production and efficiency goals
Promote and support continuous safety improvements to maintain a safe work environment
Learn, set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of corrugated production equipment
Operate corrugated machinery and forklifts as needed
Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards
Interpret and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and company policies
Encourage and maintain LEAN manufacturing practices throughout the production process
Verify product specifications using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
Follow assembly instructions and maintain organized, efficient workstations
Complete data entry, reporting, and production documentation accurately
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous machine operation experience required
Previous experience leading or supervising a team required
Strong communication and leadership skills
Good computer skills, including data entry and reporting
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Ability to accurately use measuring tools including tape measures and calipers
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow assembly instructions and maintain organized work areas
Previous forklift experience preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
