Job Overview
Local plumbing business in operation since 1970, seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in various plumbing techniques and tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and work effectively on construction sites. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems function efficiently and meet safety standards. 5+ years experience as a service plumber required. Journeyman or Master plumber license preferred
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations and repairs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Weld pipes as necessary for various plumbing applications.
- Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and techniques.
- Experience with remodeling projects is preferred.
- Proficient in using power tools and other equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
