The role balances individual and team responsibilities and requires the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment. **Responsibilities** * Draft, negotiate, and finalize retail leases and lease related ancillary documents.* Work on general real estate matters and assist with management of workflow.* Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance from the field.* Research various retail lease and title issues. **Qualifications** * Undergraduate degree, paralegal certificate or related field of study, or the equivalent work experience.* A minimum of five (5) years of paralegal experience in the commercial real estate industry.* Knowledge of commercial real estate law, with an**emphasis on retail leasing required.*** Experience with the review and analysis of commercial leases, including shopping center and office leases, with strong comprehension, drafting, and negotiation skills.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills; able to work independently and meet deadlines across multiple tasks in a “collaborative,” “results oriented” environment.* Strong verbal and written communication skills (internal & external) and the ability to manage confidential information.* Willingness and ability to learn and adopt new technology, including legal software and AI-enabled tools.* Intermediate-plus level in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel* JD Edwards and Salesforce knowledge a plus.
