What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients in accordance with hospital standards
• Prepare patient skin and maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures
• Transport patients to and from the operating room safely
• Position patients according to the surgical procedure
• Identify and care for biological specimens
• Set up operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies for various surgical cases
• Support and collaborate with the surgical team, including scrub responsibilities in multiple specialties
• Monitor and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient care management
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need

• BLS certification via AHA
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license (within 180 days of graduation)
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience (preferred)

• Ability to proficiently scrub 3+ specialty areas (e.g., Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Robotics)
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instruments
• Effective team collaboration skills
