About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required. License: Must possess a valid nursing license. Certifications: BLS required, CPI preferred. Must-Have: Experience in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, and telemetry. Description: RN Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Night Shift - Various days of the week. First-timers accepted as long as experience requirements are met. Weekend requirement includes a minimum of 6-8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, including Saturday/Sunday days and Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights. On-call availability is required. This position may require floating based on unit census and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs. Daily patient census is 16 with structured patient ratios of 4 during the day and 5 during the night. Candidate must have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios. Specialized nursing skills needed include central line care/management, continuous bladder irrigation, epidural analgesia, phlebotomy, and tracheostomy care/management. Daily duties involve monitoring patients, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and performing nursing procedures as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with advanced cardiac monitoring and rapid response protocols. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Participation in rapid response teams is expected. Nursing staff are expected to adhere to established protocols for isolation precautions and medication administration.
