Job Description
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Provide aural/oral rehabilitation Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals. Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines. Develop IEP goals Attend and report at IEP meetings Provide accurate and thorough, written evaluation reports Position Type: Full-time Job Categories: Special Education > Speech/Language Pathologist
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in American Sign Language or a strong commitment to learn ASL. Experience working with young students that are deaf/hard of hearing with diverse communication modes. Experience working with students with special needs. Background check and fingerprints required upon hire. Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Master degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
