Job Category : Registration and Scheduling Requisition Number : REGIS038844 Posted: May 29, 2026 Part‑Time Locations Villages Surgery Center The Villages, FL 32163, USA Description The Receptionist/Scheduler welcomes patients, families, physicians, and visitors to the Center either in person or over the phone. The general duties include pre‑registration and registration of patients (entering insurance and demographic information into the HIS system and producing registration and consent forms), receiving and directing incoming calls, distributing mail and messages, and assisting the business office as necessary. The Receptionist/Scheduler assembles all patient charts, notifies patients of copay responsibility, and offers directions to the center. The Receptionist/Scheduler works directly with clinical staff to understand procedure lengths, room availability, and special supply needs. All surgeries are posted to the schedule daily. Experience in a medical office setting, preferably with surgical scheduling responsibilities and extensive public contact, is required. Typing and computer experience are required.
