Work Environment

This position is based in our well-equipped outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida. The facility is designed to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where our therapists can thrive. As part of our onsite team, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, which allows you to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic while focusing on your patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs, particularly for a diverse pediatric population.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on individual evaluations and rehabilitation goals.
• Regularly reassessing patients' clinical conditions to evaluate treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments to therapy and goals.
• Documenting all patient interactions meticulously, including creating SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans using our electronic record system.
• Providing educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to navigate the recovery process and address potential challenges.
• Meeting established utilization targets and engaging in other business objectives to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with colleagues from other therapeutic disciplines within our organization to provide integrated care for patients undergoing multiple therapies.
• Embodying the values and culture of Ability Capacity Beyond Inc., serving as an ambassador for our organizational ethos.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including children of various ages and backgrounds. This role requires a commitment to understanding the unique needs of your patients, integrating culturally sensitive practices, and being adaptable to accommodate a wide array of conditions and requirements in both therapy settings. You will also have opportunities to engage with adults, ensuring comprehensive care across all life stages.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a recognized and accredited physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Willingness to perform in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, utilizing technology to enhance patient engagement.
• A strong desire to work with a wide variety of patients, embracing diversity in age, race, and ethnicity.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic therapeutic environment, showcasing resilience in the face of change.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pediatric or outpatient therapy setting.
