Position Overview

Responsibilities Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, explaining procedures with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any inconsistencies or malfunctions
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and maintain accurate electronic patient records
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification desirable
