Pay

$50~$55 per hour

Salary Details
Option to be paid 30% of collections, the same as an associate dentist, if preferred over an hourly rate.

Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Outside of maintaining a Maryland RDH License, the key responsibilities for this roll are:
•Provide comprehensive care: Dental hygiene addresses the oral cavity as well as the health of the whole body. Strong clinical skills are necessary to address patient needs and maintain comfort.
•Record Management: Accurately record patients health history, periodontal charting, clinical notes, treatment notes, and oral hygiene instructions.
•Patient Education: Communicate effectively with patients explaining home care, periodontal health needs, and post-appointment care instructions. Understanding of the functional dentistry approach is beneficial, however we are happy to train a hygienist in this style.
•X-ray Imaging: Perform dental radiography, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
•Lead by example: As a provider at the practice, our team will look to you for guidance. Live the office culture and help lead your coworkers to success.
•Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere by actively participating as a team player.

Job Description

Hygiene appointments are scheduled for a minimum of one hour, depending on the procedure and patient needs. New patient appointments focus solely on record-taking, with recall appointments scheduled separately. We have dedicated assistants to support operatory setup, instrument sterilization, and record-keeping, allowing you to focus on making a significant impact on your patients wellness. Shifts are scheduled for 8 hours with a 1 hour lunchbreak. Hygienists are welcome to arrive 30-minutes prior to patient care to review the days schedule and may stay as late as needed to complete any necessary tasks.

Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley)

Shift & Schedule

No weekends, ever! Our ideal shifts are Monday from 7-3 and Thursday 8-4, however, we are willing to be flexible. Option to add additional shifts if looking for more full time work.
