Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through the management of the therapeutic process for a designated group of patients in close coordination with physicians and the patient care team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop and implement personalized care plans that prioritize goal-setting, patient engagement, and positive health outcomes.
• Facilitate therapeutic services that support patients at every stage of their rehabilitation, including providing evaluations and treatment interventions aligned with established professional and ethical standards.
• Assess and monitor the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status of patients, actively participating in defining comprehensive plans of care.
• Provide skilled therapies within patients' homes utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance recovery in accordance with the physician's directives.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers to utilize therapeutic exercises, appliances, and prosthetics to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize and manage caseloads effectively, making appropriate staffing decisions and coordinating team assignments to optimize patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist at Total Fit will cater to a diverse patient demographic, including adults recovering from surgeries and injuries, as well as children needing orthopedic rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license is required.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, although candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy may also be considered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or new therapists.

Preferred Experience
