Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist (Contract-to-Hire) Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Job Type: 12-Month W2 Contract with Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion Pay: $20$24/hour (DOE) (adjust as needed) Join a Leading Financial Institution We're seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to support a high-impact commercial lending operations team during a major system modernization initiative. What You'll Do Support daily commercial loan servicing operations and collateral intake activities. Manage and organize a high-volume shared Outlook inbox, routing requests to the appropriate teams. Review commercial loan files for accuracy and identify documentation discrepancies. Assist with remediation and cleanup of loan records during a system conversion project. Review and recognize commercial loan documents such as promissory notes and related collateral documentation. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation using Microsoft Excel. Support process improvement initiatives and complete special projects as assigned. Work independently while ensuring accuracy and meeting established deadlines. What We're Looking For 2+ years of commercial loan servicing, loan operations, or commercial banking experience. Experience reviewing commercial loan documentation. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP experience strongly preferred). Experience managing high-volume Outlook inboxes. Experience supporting remediation, reporting, data cleanup, or operational projects. Ability to prioritize work, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting commercial lending operations during system implementations or conversions.
