Support Services Assistant - General (SSA-G) This position is located in the city of Van Nuys. Under the general supervision/direction of Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the Support Services Assistant (SSA) is responsible for performing the following duties to assist the Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Qualified Rehabilitation Professional. The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Support Services Assistant - General (SSA-G) to join our team in Van Nuys. As an SSA-G, you will provide essential support to staff with disabilities by assisting with clerical tasks and offering reasonable accommodations that promote a comfortable and accessible work environment. Duties include but are not limited to: Performing clerical tasks such as organizing case files, copying, scanning, and routing documents. Providing physical support services (e.g., retrieving equipment, assisting with mobility needs) in accordance with ADA reasonable accommodations. Attending meetings and trainings to take notes and assist with follow-up. Supporting office organization, scheduling, and supply management.
