What You'll Do

• Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, and splinting
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs, and conduct point-of-care testing
• Stabilize patients with minor injuries and illnesses
• Document thoroughly in Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Manage patients from birth to death, with varying acuity levels

What You Need

• Valid Virginia Physician Assistant license or eligible for licensure
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of urgent care or primary care experience
• Strong procedural skills including suturing, I&D, and splinting
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
