This role involves providing specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU with an approximate monthly birth rate of 190. It offers an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on high‑risk neonatal care. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: California RN license, 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in neonatal intensive care, valid BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-frequency ventilation, PICC line management, intubations, and advanced neonatal procedures. Float: May float to monitor higher acuity babies if experience is demonstrated. Additional Information: The unit manages a high volume of neonatal patients with diagnoses such as prematurity, RDS, sepsis, NEC, and neonatal abstinence syndrome. The role requires proficiency in complex neonatal procedures, use of specialized equipment like CPAP, BIPAP, and ventilators, and hands‑on experience with invasive lines and advanced neonatal interventions. Candidates must be available to start on 08/11/2026, work including three of the five major holidays, and be willing to comply with facility RTO policies and background checks.
