Join a dedicated rehabilitation team in a well-established regional facility serving the Southeastern United States. This part-time, variable shift role involves providing essential patient care and supporting nursing staff in a dynamic rehab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, offering direct assistance or communicating with appropriate team members.
• Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage and restock supplies to ensure a clean, well-organized patient environment.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in ongoing educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification mandatory.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Experience and Skills

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility with work tasks and schedules.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work variable shifts including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
